REMEDIAL CENTRE (REM)
Students studying in the regular classroom in larger group settings who have been assessed as having an educational need will receive classroom support and /or remedial intervention from Special Educators. Till class 6 a Special Educator is placed in the classroom along with the class teacher to give full learning support to the students with special needs.
From Class 7 onwards, a Special Educator with subject specific knowledge is placed in the classroom to support the students with special needs.
Some of the main functions of this Centre include:

Assisting in admission procedures

Addressing "Concern Forms"

Developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Providing classroom based support

Assisting in differentiated instruction

Providing individual remedial sessions

Liaising with the other boards that the school is affiliated with
