Dance spaces

Dance, drama and music form an integral part of our curriculum. Dance rooms at junior and senior school provide creative spaces that reverberate with strains of folk, jazz and the steps in Kathak and Bharatanatyam.

Drama rooms

All students enjoy drama from action songs in primary school to developing skills in junior school and moving on to improvisation and devising drama in senior school. Drama rooms across the school and performing spaces affirm our commitment to the performing arts. The amphitheatre has a total covered area of 600 sq. metres and seats 500 people. The main centrally air-conditioned auditorium with a seating of 525, as well as the studio theatre seating 300, also add to the performing arts facilities at SBS.

Music rooms

We aim to inculcate students with a love of music, which stays with them for the rest of their lives. Students covet a place in the school orchestra and train in different instruments through their journey at SBS. Our music rooms across junior and senior school are equiped with a variety of instruments ranging from the tabla, keyboard, guitar, sitar, flute and drums.
