Theory of Knowledge Exhibition

The TOK Exhibition offered a meaningful reflection of the intellectual growth and critical thinking that students have developed over the course of the year through the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course, a core component of the IB Diploma Programme.

Responding to one of the IB’s prescribed prompts, each student curated three real-world objects to explore the guiding question: “How do we know what we know?” These objects served as entry points into deeper inquiry, revealing how students have learned to connect abstract ideas with real-world contexts.

The exhibition not only showcased their ability to analyse and interpret knowledge from multiple perspectives but also highlighted their personal engagement with complex questions. It stood as a quiet testament to their evolving thought processes and their ability to look beyond the surface to question assumptions, evaluate evidence, and consider alternative viewpoints. More than a display, the exhibition reflected the students’ journey of learning how to think—not what to think—underscoring the essence of the TOK experience.
