The much-anticipated third edition of the Inter-House Debate Competition – Elenchus 2025 is set to take place on Friday, 17 February 2025. This intellectually stimulating event will bring together Middle School students from three different grades, competing in a modified WSDC format with reduced speaking times.
Elenchus serves as a platform for young debaters to refine their critical thinking, research, and public speaking skills while engaging in structured and persuasive discourse. The semi-final rounds will present participants with a range of diverse and thought-provoking motions, designed to challenge their ability to construct compelling arguments, counter perspectives, and defend their stance under time constraints. Each debate will witness a dynamic exchange of ideas, fostering not only healthy competition but also a culture of inquiry and open-mindedness among students.
With its high-energy atmosphere, and competitive spirit, Elenchus 2025 promises to be an engaging and enriching experience, inspiring students to think analytically, articulate persuasively, and grow into confident, informed individuals.
