An accomplished educator and instructional leader, Ms. Payel Duttagupta is deeply interested in curriculum development and pedagogy. A Thinking Collaborative certified cognitive coach, Ms Duttagupta holds a Master degree from Presidency University, Kolkata. As an educator who has taught Science from grades 6 to 12, and across national and international curricula, she has a unique blend of looking at education from both perspectives - as a classroom teacher and an instructional leader leading institutions to set benchmarks. Ms Duttagupta served as a senior school co-head at Heritage Xperiential Learning School in Gurgaon. In her previous position, she spearheaded curriculum design and pedagogical strategies within the central knowledge management team for the Heritage Group of schools. Having dedicated over 16 years to the field of education, Ms. Duttagupta has engaged extensively in various facets of school management. She has contributed significantly to curriculum development and teacher training initiatives, emphasising the importance of authentic assessments and fostering collaborative teaching methods enhanced by technology. Her interests lie in school effectiveness research, facilitating quality assurance and enhancement by implementing continuous school improvement initiatives and developing organisational systems and processes. Ms. Payel Duttagupta is deeply invested in understanding the needs of the students and the school community, fostering an environment where every childs potential is nurtured and valued.
