Our Team

Ms. Debroy has had a distinguished career in education, as an International Education administrator and a facilitator in the field of Economics. She joined the Step by Step School team in 2010 and took on the role of the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) Coordinator in 2011. In 2021, she assumed her current role as the International Curriculum Leader.

An alumna of Calcutta University, Ms. Debroy holds a postgraduate degree in Economics, where she achieved the second position in her master program. Her expertise in Economics is further evidenced through her extensive service as the IBDP Lead Examiner of Economics for more than 12 years. Presently, she holds the prestigious position of the Network Chair for the IB Diploma Programme Delhi-NCR, a testament to her leadership and commitment to the International Baccalaureate program.

With a wealth of experience exceeding 25 years as an educator, Ms. Debroy has taught Economics at the senior secondary level. In addition to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme her expertise covers both the national curriculum and CIE (Cambridge International Examinations).

Beyond her academic pursuits, Ms. Debroy has diverse interests. She is passionate about traveling, has a love for reading, and takes pleasure in music and the visual arts. This well-rounded profile reflects not only her academic achievements but also her personal interests and commitment to a holistic approach to education.
