Our Team

A warm and nurturing educator, Ms. Vijayashree Ranganathan has the rich experience of over 24 years that spans teaching the ICSE, IGCSE, CBSE and I.B. curricula. She joined SBS in 2011 after having worked in Bombay Scottish School and Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai. With her interests in curriculum development and the effective use of technology to support pedagogy and learning, Ms. Ranganathan effectively steered the Middle School of SBS as the Curriculum Leader. She has attended multiple international programs on educational methodologies and is also a CIE trainer. An alumnus of the University of Madras, her specialisation is in mathematics and technology. She is also a gold medalist at the University of Mumbai, which she received for standing first in her B.Ed. She supports several co-curricular programmes and is a guide and mentor to her students and team members alike. Always eager to learn and grow, Ms. Ranganathan is well attuned to the foundational values of SBS and brings a range of skills and valuable experience to her role as the Head of Senior School.
