The Cambridge Football Tournament, held from 12th–13th December 2024, showcased exceptional performances from our junior school’s boys’ and girls’ football teams. The boys’ team displayed determination and skill, winning their group matches against Cambridge NFC (2-0) and Cambridge Indirapuram (3-2), before facing a tough semi-final against DPS Noida.
The girls’ team exhibited outstanding teamwork and resilience throughout the tournament. They dominated their group matches, defeating Cambridge NFC (6-0) and securing a narrow victory against Cambridge Indirapuram (1-0). In the knockout stage, they continued their winning streak with a commanding 3-0 win over Sommerville, Greater Noida. The thrilling final against Pragyan School, Greater Noida, ended in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw, where the girls’ team emerged victorious with a 2-0 win, securing a historic championship title.
Both teams demonstrated remarkable skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making the tournament a memorable experience.
