A visit to the Fire Station!

On 17th February 2025, the Nursery children embarked on an exciting visit to the fire station, designed to deepen their understanding of transport and community helpers. This hands-on experience brought their classroom learning to life, sparking curiosity and wonder.

Eager and wide-eyed, the children engaged with the firefighters, asking thoughtful questions about their work. They were captivated by the fire suits, helmets, oxygen tanks, and powerful water hoses used to combat fires. A live demonstration of the high-pressure hose in action left them in awe, highlighting the strength and precision required for this heroic task.

The children also explored essential firefighting tools, including ladders, rescue ropes, and emergency sirens, gaining insight into how each piece of equipment plays a critical role in saving lives. Through these interactions, they discovered that firefighting is more than just a job—it’s an act of selfless service, embodying courage and dedication.
