Grade VI parents were recently invited to experience how Hindi is taught in classrooms through an engaging and interactive session.
The session began with a light Bingo activity that introduced key elements of the subject in a fun and approachable way. Teachers shared a brief overview of the curriculum, including writing formats such as picture description and paragraph writing. Parents engaged in brainstorming exercises, group activities, and a lively “Hotseat” session, where they explored creative thinking and role-play, reflecting the teaching and learning methods used in class. They viewed samples of student work and classroom activities that helped illustrate how concepts are introduced and reinforced. Discussions with educators focused on how homework and assessments are structured to encourage deeper understanding and prepare students for competency-based questions.
The session concluded on a reflective note offering useful insights into how students are being supported in building confidence and clarity in their use of the Hindi language.
