Parent Walk-in

The Parent Walk-In, held across April and May for families of students from Nursery to Grade 5, offered a valuable glimpse into the everyday learning experiences of children. Parents visited classrooms and engaged in sessions that helped them better understand the teaching approaches and classroom environment.

The visit included a group interaction with teachers, where the focus was on planning a balanced summer break—one that includes time for play, rest, and simple learning routines. Educators shared easy-to-follow suggestions on how maintaining a gentle structure at home during the holidays can support a smooth return to school and continued development.

A special highlight was the Reading Corner, where curated book recommendations were shared with parents. These age-appropriate titles were chosen to keep children curious, imaginative, and motivated to read over the summer.

This initiative helped strengthen the connection between home and school, encouraging families to play an active role in their child’s learning journey beyond the classroom.
