World Theatre Day 2025

Strings Attached! World Theatre Day 2025

World Theatre Day 2025 (18th March 2025) brought a wave of creativity and wonder for our middle schoolers with an engaging workshop on Bunraku-style puppetry titled Silent Voices. Grade VIII students participated in this hands-on session, where they explored puppet-making, crafting techniques, and the art of storytelling through movement.

The workshop encouraged collaboration and creativity, with students bringing their puppets to life in ways that were both expressive and imaginative.

As the day unfolded, students from Grades VI to VIII gathered at Rang Raas – The Suri Auditorium for a delightful puppet performance titled Humara Circus. The show was followed by an interactive session with the puppeteers, sparking curiosity and appreciation for this captivating art form.

The celebration brought theatre to life in the most magical way—one string, one story at a time—leaving middle schoolers inspired and eager for more!
