Special Assembly on Friendship

Grade 2 students will be presenting an assembly ‘Friendship’ on 28th August 2024. Through a delightful mix of songs, dances, and a skit, they will delve into the true meaning of being a good friend. This assembly will highlight the importance of kindness, empathy, and support in nurturing meaningful and lasting friendships. Students will also share their personal reflections on how friendships help them grow, connect, and flourish both within and beyond the classroom.

This event offers a wonderful opportunity for young learners to showcase their creativity and celebrate the special bonds they’ve formed with their peers.

Career Fair 2024

The SBS Career Fair 2024 brings together a diverse and distinguished group of universities from across the globe. This event is designed to provide the students and their families with a unique opportunity to explore an extensive range of educational pathways, interact with representatives from world-renowned institutions, and chart a path toward a future.

It is an exceptional chance for students to engage with academic experts and learn about the national and international educational landscape from around 90+ universities in India and abroad.

We are delighted to share that the keynote address will be given by Prof. Debayan Gupta on the “Changing Landscape of Careers in the 21st Century”. Prof. Gupta is currently a faculty member at the Department of Computer Science at Ashoka University. Prior to that, Prof. Gupta held a Faculty position in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). With a PhD from Yale in Computation and a Bachelor’s degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Prof. Gupta is also a visiting professor and research affiliate at MIT and MIT-Sloan.

URJA 2024

The middle schoolers are gearing up for the much-anticipated Science Fair, URJA! This year’s themes include STEM for Social Good, Science Fiction and Futurism, and Biomimicry. Students are busy creating working models, toys, board games, block presentations, and photo stories/comic strips to showcase their innovative ideas. Wait for more updates of an exciting day of experiential learning, where students develop crucial skills through hands-on activities. URJA 2024 promises to be a captivating event, celebrating young minds and their scientific explorations.

Parents’ Day in Programme (Nur & KG)

The school invites parents to spend a day participating in our Parents’ Day In program, engaging in interactive activities with their children. Parents have the opportunity to join their children in classrooms and activity rooms, engaging in lessons and games that offer valuable insights into their daily learning experiences. Through hands-on activities, parents learn new educational methods while sharing nostalgic moments from their own childhood.”

‘अभिव्यक्ति’ स्टेप बाय स्टेप विद्यालय की सांस्कृतिक चेतना का एक अभिन्न अंग है। इस अंतर-विद्यालयी हिंदी कविता पाठ कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य छात्रों में कविता और पाठ कला के प्रति गहरी प्रशंसा और प्रेम विकसित करना है। इस कार्यक्रम के द्वारा आज का युवा शास्त्रीय और समकालीन हिंदी कविताओं के साथ जुड़ता है, जिससे सांस्कृतिक और साहित्यिक विरासत को बढ़ावा मिलता है। यह कार्यक्रम युवा कवियों और उत्साही लोगों के एक जीवंत समुदाय का निर्माण करने की आकांक्षा रखता है और हिंदी साहित्य की समृद्धि का एक उत्सव है।

Model Shark Tank

The SBS Model Shark Tank returns with its 3rd Edition, embracing the theme ‘Kaizen’ in alignment with ‘Urja.’ This event provides a platform for aspiring scientists to present their innovative business ideas and receive expert feedback. It offers students a valuable opportunity to engage with the business world and develop their entrepreneurial skills. We look forward to seeing creative solutions and visionary concepts from emerging talents.

Teacher Empowerment

SBS believes in the continuous development of our educators. Every Summer, before the school reopens for students, a week is dedicated to the professional development of faculty. Guided by experts in education and professional development, these workshops cover a range of topics, including innovative teaching methodologies, effective classroom management, technology integration, and fostering a positive learning environment.
