On November 11th, the school had the privilege of hosting an inspiring author session organized by Bookaroo in the City. The session featured renowned New Zealand author Melinda Szymanik, who captivated students with her creative insights.
Titled “Is There Poetry Hiding in Stories?”, the session invited students to explore how thoughtful and poetic word choices shape compelling narratives. Melinda shared her poetic tales, encouraging students to craft their own poems inspired by the stories she presented.
This engaging session sparked creativity and helped students uncover the hidden poetry within the stories they read. It was a memorable experience, leaving students with a deeper appreciation for the power of words and the art of storytelling.
