On 22nd July, the Primary classes at SBS celebrated Mango Day with vibrant energy, paying tribute to the king of fruits. The children delved into the world of mangoes, learning about the different varieties and the journey of mangoes from the tree to our tables.
The event offered a delightful sensory experience as the children engaged all five senses—admiring the bright yellow hues, inhaling the sweet aroma, feeling the soft pulp, listening to the joyful slurps, and savoring the juicy sweetness of ripe mangoes.
A mango-themed art and craft session allowed the children to express their creativity, shaping mangoes out of paper, paint, and imagination. The highlight of the day was the children’s pure joy as they enjoyed their mango treats.
Mango Day was not just about fun and flavor—it also nurtured creativity, social interaction, and a deeper appreciation for fruits. The smiles on the children’s faces captured the essence of the day, making it a memorable and enriching experience for all.
