Laughter and curiosity filled the air when Carlos Martinez, an internationally acclaimed mime artist from Spain, visited Step by Step School on 30 September 2025. Middle school students were captivated by his performance and interactive workshop, where humour, imagination, and expression came alive without a single word. From escaping invisible boxes to revealing unseen emotions, Carlos used silence to tell stories that resonated deeply.
Having performed globally for nearly four decades, he shared how mime became his way of “speaking all the languages in the world.” Experiences like these spark creativity and self-expression while broadening cultural horizons—reminding students that learning isn’t confined to words but thrives in every form of art, movement, and curiosity.
