On 7th May 2026, the Early Years team hosted an interactive parent workshop on The Importance of Play in Early Childhood. Facilitated by Chetan Singh and Rachna Kokkar, the session explored how play serves as a vital medium for learning.
It enables children to explore their surroundings, express feelings, build self-confidence, and understand the world. Parents took part in practical, hands-on activities and learned how every day and recycled materials can be transformed into engaging play experiences at home. The discussion also emphasized play’s role in nurturing creativity, problem-solving skills, emotional health, and deeper parent-child connections.
The session was lively and collaborative, fostering insightful dialogue, creativity, and shared learning between parents and educators. Let’s give our children the gift of PLAY.
